So it seems like most people are not too excited over the iPad or any other tablet. That’s according to the consumer electronic site Retrevo, who announced that 53% of all respondents surveyed in their Pulse Report said they weren’t too psyched about purchasing a tablet.
The reasons? See for yourself:

Other questions suggest that 40% of consumers planing to purchase a tablet in the near future, are seriously considering the iPad, and it’s very likely they will get one soon. The Android Tablet is also being considered since more than half (53%) of the respondents interested in tablets said they would get an Android-based one over an iPad if it was less expensive—something that was less likely to happen two years ago when Apple had little or no competition in this market.

We still have to wait and see what happens once the Android tablet comes out. Either way, tech-savvy customers and those who already own an Apple or Android device seem to be more willing to buy a tablet—even an iPad—than those who don’t. So what do you think? Tablet or not?
